Description
Noble 2DFX is a graphics utility for 2D image and comic animations. As opposed to other animators and animation formats, the tool strives to be easy to use, tries to interact nicely with other utilities, and supports a variety of export options to ease integration into final products, such as a game.
History
Development of "Noble 2DFX" started in September 16, 2021. The goal was to add animated comic frames for the game Retro Commander. The utility also allows to create animated images used in other parts of the game.
Features
- Animations: Designed to support compact 2D animations formats with optional sound effects and music including WAV and MP3.
- Comics: Create and combine multiple comic frames into an animated slide show with minimal memory footprint.
- File Exports: Export animations into compact internal formats or animated GIFs or MP4. Export to raw PNG images with separate animation instruction file is possible also.
- Engine Integration: Developed for easy integration into existing game engines such as libGDX.
